As some of you know The Sands group has added a ‘fine dining’ experience to it’s collection of properties and experiences here on the Kenyan south coast. Whether at the Nomad restaurant, the indulgent wine room, or at the new private beach house, ‘Lazy Days’ one can always expect some of the best organic produce Diani has to offer.
Over this past weekend we have had two special dinners booked in the unique fine dinning wine room located at the Nomad Beach Bar. In planning and preparation for these meals chef Gabrielle visited the farm on Friday morning to hand pick edible flowers and herb flavours to go with his extra special dishes.
It’s always nice to know where the food you eat comes from and how it is grown. Knowing that the food on your plate was locally sourced, grown without chemicals and using repurposed solid waste items like this Outboard engine cover or these glass bottles, toilets and minibars adds another whole dimension to the dining experience, Sustainability.
There is nowhere else one can get this kind of dining experience.
